Refund policy
The following applies to our products, aka our "click'n'buy" items, and not our custom sized items such as countertops where you are determining the size of the item.
PRODUCTS
- Refunds and exchanges: We offer a generous refund and exchange policy for all product orders. If you are not satisfied with your cutting board for any reason, you can return it for a full refund within 90 days, no questions asked. Within 2 years of purchase, we offer exchanges and repairs. After 2 years, you can still return your cutting board for a repair.
- Repairs: We offer free repairs for all cutting boards that are less than 2 years old. If your cutting board is more than 2 years old, you can still get it repaired for a fee. Cost of shipping for repairs is a case by case basis.
- Shipping: For all returns and exchanges occurring within 2 years of purchase, we will fully cover the cost of shipping within the USA. We will also cover the cost of shipping out the first round of replacements within that same time period. We won't cover the second round of returns/exchanges & replacements.
- International orders: We cannot offer refunds or exchanges for international orders. If you have any problems with your cutting board, please contact us and we will try to help you resolve the issue.
Additional details... At minimum....
- Refunds will be processed within 7 days of receiving the returned product.
- Exchanges will be shipped within 10 days of receiving the returned product.
- Repairs will be completed within 2-4 weeks of receiving the product.
- We cannot be responsible for damage to your cutting board during shipping.
- Please contact us if you have any questions about our refund, repair, or return policy.
Notes:
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. This means that if you paid for your cutting board with a credit card, your refund will be issued back to your credit card account.
- Businesses may not accept returns for certain products, such as custom orders or products that have been damaged by the customer.
CUSTOM
- Refunds and exchanges: No refunds or exchanges are offered for countertop and custom work. Countertop and custom work are made to order and cannot be returned or exchanged for any reason.

Once a payment has been made, the order is considered confirmed according to the drawings or dimensions sent unless explicitly stated otherwise. There is *some* wiggle room of a few inches, since we try to make items large for manufacturing purposes before making our final cuts, but you should look at your initial payment as a confirmation of the order as-is. No cancellations allowed.
- Custom orders can have a 3-6 week timeline depending on the project and general demand we are experiencing at the time. Email us to see how the shop's current timeline is looking if you are particularly pressed for time.
- Repairs: We offer free repairs for all countertop and custom work that is less than 1 year old. If your countertop or custom work is more than 1 year old, you can still get it repaired for a fee.
- Shipping: For all repairs, you will be responsible for the shipping costs to our workshop in Brooklyn, NY. We will ship the repaired product to you at our expense.
- International orders: We cannot offer repairs for international orders. If you have any problems with your countertop or custom work, please contact us and we will try to help you resolve the issue.
